7. Create a weekly editorial content calendar for all your social media. This is a must if you have multiple clients. It will also prevent brain freeze.

8. Write in a style that is easy to read – avoid using industry jargon and acronyms.

9. Your opening paragraph must grab attention – focus on it. Copyblogger says the best ways to grab attention are:
• Ask a question
• Use an anecdote or quote
• Ask the reader to imagine something in their mind’s eye
• Use an analogy, metaphor or simile
• Quote a shocking statistic

10. Use attention-grabbing graphics to draw readers to your words.

And always give value to your reader. Successful blogging is all about sharing your knowledge and experience.
